I just watched an influential post about Haters. I am who I am and no one cant touch me. I am Hispanic. I am a lady. I am a beast. I am sexy. I am funny. I am a flirt. I am smart. I am I am I am.... We are all blessed with what we have and what we contribute to the world. I am allot of things and I think I am the perfect package and for those who try to hurt me well it wont work and it wont stop me from my mission in life. My mission is to live. I watched a YouTube video as I do while I lay down, listen to music, watch TV and study. I know I haven't changed since the last post but believe me its a work in progress. I get upset how people constantly give me drama because they are ugly. Mostly ugly on the inside. I know when I am up for competition I back down and let the other girl shine. I have no qualms about that. But If I look better then too bad. If I come out more funny too bad. I think if I come out shining its me being real. Im no act. Im the real Mccoy Bitch. yea I said it!!!! But I think that haters need to recongnize its why they are alone. Its why they dont get attention. Its cause their negative beliefs. Can you not just back down. If you want to say something say it. Cause Lawd knows Im gonna fuck shit up and keep thangs real. I often do remain silent because I dont want to go to jail for fucking you up but I keep silent cause most of the time Im the grown up and you are so small I dont even need to bother with making a scene. Im happy at this point in my life that with more freedoms in the world I am free spirited. I have a long list of happy accomplishments and more to gain. I think anyone in my way I plan to step over and overcome. So yes I will be looking good, feeling good and passing the good word. Watch this youtube video and she will tell you. I like her cause she is going into acting and modeling and has a good head on her shoulders. I have been thru alot of things similar to her and can account that pain is to be soothed to a point to make you stronger. Dont forget ladies and gentlemen. I have a pot belly but it's not my fault

So i got a pleasant call from my cousin last nite and she was telling me her ventures to the gym and to soccer meets. I said I had just started back up from being sick. I had a bout with internal bleeding. Nothing serious. But serious. I had cramping and bloating and felt not myself because my monthly cycles lasted for most times 8 days. Well I decided I gotta lose weight. For a myriad of reasons. Exercising gives me a toned sexed up bod, clear mind control meaning I can study without feeling a cloud over my head, I have more energy (to clean oh fucking joy) and I am more healthy (yes I can be here to annoy you all more). So yea I went to a kick ass cookout last weekend and my girlfriend who invited me gave me a dvd to pick up at the office that she made for me. I cant say the video name (rhymes sorta with the first name of the show Hannity & Colmes). yea Im a nerd. But I used to watch that show. When I was bored of anything else. Now I watch respectable shows like Rupaul Drag race. LOL (well Now I cant watch that show cause I lowered my cable level sux being a poor bitch LOL) Anyways Rupaul inspired me to try another degree program and I am forever greatful. I am not gay but I think I have a connection. I think on some sort of level I am different. I like to think that even though one is drawn to the same sex just like me they bleed, have feelings and love a pair of comfortable flats. LOL But yea I think his show is a good time and of course tells the woes of life. But back to my fat ass. I plan to work out starting monday. I am nervous but I feel I will like the results. I do go to the gym mostly to have my son practice alot swimming but I dont exercise as long as I used to and as I should. Sooo hopefuly the video will jumpstart and I can keep up with the boy. Btw Im not like overweight by any means. I just know I have a pot belly and I have some cute dresses to fit into that I bought. Yes I have a shopping habit. its a working progress. LOL

Sunday!!

Ok so I fucked up. I didn't study and I had a meltdown driving to work today. I felt like crap and then I thought what would my mom say. She would say I need to get my ass into gear and fucking study. Actually there would be more cursing and slamming and banging of her hand onto tables. Then all of the sudden on the radio a song came on. Celia Cruz was on the radio and that was one of my moms favourite songs. Then I knew she was in the car with me. So I put myself in a dilemma. I am excited about school. I love the classes and I love the school. Its an actual University and Im proud to look at my acceptance letter. I have graduated college twice but from small schools and I wanted to make a difference as a single mom and in my career. So basically I started week 3 late. I did all assignments except read my book. The reason for one of my classes is because I didnt have it. I got it late and stupid me I didnt pay attention which one I needed. I had two books waiting for me at the bookstore and I returned the wrong one. I started to read one but then I thought the chapters didnt match the syllabus. OH FUCK!!. I also spent a little too much on shoes and I didnt have enough for the book. And I have been driving an hour one way twice this week to help my dad chop wood. So I was exhausted from that. Well I lost 2 days plus I fucked around one day healing inbetween from chopping wood and then I did some school work but not all. So now its Sunday. And there is a test on all three chapters. I woke up at 4am tried to get a ebook in textbook form. Yea well I dont have the dough and the ebook is more money than renting (weird) and If I rent I have to wait in the mail for it and I need it for the test. So what I did was the next best thing. See if Barnes and Nobles has it in store and go there and read the first 3 chapters and then go home and do the test. Well I called while at work and they DID NOT FUCKING HAVE IT!! Sooooo I searched for ebooks that were cheap. I found a good website that let me sample the book. YESSS!!! And NOOOOO!!!. I got a sample allright. I got 1 goddam chapter. And I read the book in bed. Stupid me. Cause I fell asleep between chapters (naughty fucking me) But then I got to the end of ch 1. It says if you want to read more buy the ebook or rent the ebook. Then I went to the website to take my test. It says you have to do it at 5pm. It was 3:49Pm. FUCK ME and I have an hour to do the test. Well I log on and do the test without the rest of the book to read. Sure enough there was only fucking 10 questions and 8 of the 10 questions were in chapter 1 and I got 8 out of 10 right. FUCK me. Yes an 80% is good. But I could have done better. Its a mark on me and I feel like crap. I somehow made it without fully reading the book and being so tired from work and other demands of the week. But it goes to show that I am fully a procrastinator and I need to change.

Makeup removal

So at night I usually have minimal make up to take off. I don't use foundation much as I think it can make the skin tone sometimes uneven. No offense but I have seen people on youtube without make up and its scary. I know makeup is used to cover imperfections but you must work on getting the skin even in the first place because too much make up "I think" changes the chemical look to the skin. soo anywho.....

Almay oil free make up eraser sticks I use these to just remove eye liner on my lower lid. These are magnificent. They have the makeup remover in the qtip tube. You snap off the edge. Watch the liquid soak the other end of the q-tip and begin to take off the liner. Its so gentle and so easy to come off. It doesn't burn and its liquid type is as thin as water. I highly recommend this. Its Hypo allergenic and great for sensitive. It cost about $5 and you can get at Target, Walmart, Ulta, or your local pharmacy.

The Estee Lauder Take it away Total Makeup remover - I dont like it but I use it until I get a replacement. I am also using until I finish cause most times I dont like to waste. I got it from the Macys. I dont remember how much I paid but it was kinda alot. But the girl said oh yea use for removal of eye makeup. yea right. It felt like you have conjuctivitis if you put in your eye. DONT DO IT!!! It was all blobby and gooey. No matter how careful you are it gets in your eye.Its good for everywhere on your face except the eye area. I think it takes off a bit but not all of the makeup. Definetly not that good. The wipes from Estee  Lauder is good I will talk about that another time. As you can see I am almost done.

Now the last thing I use is the Almay oil free eye makeup remover pads. This I love love too. Almay has stepped up. Its cheap and again hypoallergenic. I got this from Target and I use 2 pads a nite. One for each eye. I have one in each hand and swipe over the eyelid to remove the eyeshadow and mascara. It takes it off and is gentle. It not oily like the neutrogena eye make up remover. (good lord is that oily. that should be used to lubricate your arm to impregnate a horse. I know Im gross but its my blog). I think Almay makes one in a bottle where I can squirt on a cotton pad but these are way more convenient and I can take with me on trips cause the container is small enough. So far its been a month with this and Im happy. It took me a while to get cause I was researching and I usually dont like to get things for beauty in big shop stores but sometimes we dont need to spend $40 or more to get the job done. Excellent buy and I mean it.

Tupperware or various plastic lids alternative use

Do you ever wonder what you can do with the tupperware or plastic lids that you lost containers to??? Well I use pyrex containers because I don't have to worry about the smell or the container staining. It also warms well and a safer alternative. I have plastic containers for a back up for if I have a party and I want guest to take food home. I am not heart broken if I don't get them back. So sometimes you don't get the container back or you just have the lid. You can use the lid to rest your cooking spoons or spatulas while cooking. It just makes things easier instead of going out to purchase a ladle holder. LOL  Its cheaper and it stacks flat and if you are using multiple spoons you can lay out the covers. WIN WIN

Grocery IQ app

Ok so there is this app called Grocery IQ. Its on the android and apple format. Its super easy to use and very handy. So basically I had this on my android (I miss you) and then when I got my iphone I downloaded here. So this app to be used to essential make a list of household/grocery items to purchase. It has the capability to scan the item so you don't have to type or talk it into the app. Its very fast and efficient. What I like about it also is that you can type in the price and unit size of the item so if you want to get it in the future you have an idea how much it is. It has a great history back up. The number on my app signifies how many items I need on my list. Once you purchase it goes into the cart. Its a free app and not corrupt when you use it. Also a big thing is its connected to coupons.com and you can print coupons or I believe scan from the phone. What I like to do is print them since I have an Epson air printer. (yea I know Im clever). Bye bye Rimmel hello Almay

Well i have decided to let my Rimmel Mascara go and I temporarily switched to Almay. I love Rimmel cause it thickens the eyelash and makes the lash curl up without the use of a curler. Its quite great but I noticed that Rimmel has a different ingredient type based on where it originates. Not doe nothing but I started using Rimmel from a trip i took and i loved it. So I bought the same here but it was the same in look but I noticed my eyes get itchy and burning. I switched to Almay One coat nourishing mascara and it's hypo allergenic but it doesn't really thicken the lash and it takes so many coats to notice anything. But no reaction which is good. It's just time consuming putting it on. I will keep using that until I settle on a waterproof brand I like. But to make things confirmed but I noticed Rimmel eyeliners make my eye itch and burn too. So I'm on the hunt girls and guys.

School savings

So I had to drop one of my classes because it doesn't count towards my degree. Boo hooooo I really liked it. It was the Introductions to Minorities. I am a minority so I thought how about I refresh and revitalize my thoughts on the subject. Well not happening. So I sent the instructor an email letting him know I was departing and I signed up for another class based on my advisors recommendation. So the new class asks for two books that one of them I read as a child. I actually felt the book was dumb but oh well I need it for school and I cant remember all the details of the book. So I have an issue. I paid for books already for the other class and they are coming to the bookstore for pickup. I have to cancel that order and get new books. But wait....... I'm a cheap (I mean frugal) bitch and my new class has books from 1976 and 1993. Im checking amazon.com. Yes I saw the books for like the range $5 to $15 but I still don't want to pay. Since I know these book titles are old and common. Let check the free resource. Yes bitches the library. So my library is a network of like 30 locations. They all share the same book/digital resources and all you do is put in your card number,request the title, and the book gets delivered to the location you wish. Soooo I did just that. I ordered one book on tape (I love audiobooks) and the other in paperback. Total cost = $FREE. I just need to find my tape player since they didn't put it on cd. Which is fine I don't care. And I can listen to the book and chill. I have a lot of little old gadgets from the old days just in case such a emergency comes up. I actually have Sony Walkman cd player. How prehistoric is that. I love that thing. I can listen to tv on it. I use it during blackouts when I need to hear the weather band. Its probably the last one on earth. LOL But yea so I saved cash on my class and I return one book and get my money back. So I can take that money and pay a bill. Not going to splurge no matter what. Now you learned something. Damn I'm so smart.

Remember the Fallen

I'm up early doing my day to day survival but I want to let you know I didn't forget what today is all about. Its not about me. Its about my country. I wish I had a time machine to change things but I cant. Today marks the remembrance of the citizens who died in the September 11th attacks. When my son wakes up we will talk about this day and reflect who we are as a nation and how we came to have more of a unity. Today and everyday we will "Never Forget". I hope the same to everyone around the world who feels the same. We lost good people and continue to carry on their legacy. God Bless

Reviva labs brown spot lightening night cream

So in 2010 I thought Id be cool and do laser hair removal on my bikini area because I tried it on my legs and underarms and had great success. I knew I was on the cusp of doing it cause of the color of my skin so I proceeded nevertheless. I got burned and OMG did it hurt. We tried a patch area but I didnt have any issues so she keep buzzing buzzing. So I was fine until I got to the car. Oh shit did it hurt like a mutha!!!! I could barely drive home and I was soo much irritated and eventually got a fever. Then the worse happened the next day the irritation developed into burns. I looked like a spotted giraffe in my bikini area. Now that was a damper for REALS!!!. So I bought this skin lightener because I couldnt get a dermatologist appt for like weeks and every office I called they said it will scar and I didnt want that. So I went to ULTA and bought this and it worked. My skin renewed and evened out and no scarring occurred. So why do I bring it up today. Well I have had to purchase a new jar because stupid me started using an elec shaver instead of brazilian waxes and I didnt properly use it and now  I have ingrown hairs and a lil bit of scarring. I wouldnt of had to use the shaver if I didnt get into a squabble with the best and cheapest esthetician who does my waxing. But whatever all is well I am getting waxed on teh regular and my skin is making progress. Its not as bad as the burns but I want to nip it in the bud and of course not scare myself or others LOL. There is a Reviva skin lightener for days but its in a gel form and not as strong as the night cream. You have to know that if you use it you cannot expose to sunlight as your skin is renewing. If you do use on your face please use sunblock or a facial lotion with sunblock (perferably without oil so you dont break out). Once you start using this product you must tightly close it or it will dry out and then you have wasted it. It cost about $12 at ULTA. I had a customer coupon so I saved a few bucks which helped. (Coupons are my best friend) So in the next few weeks I hope this regimen will help and I will be back to my non giraffe spotted self.

Loreal Sublime Bronze Luminous Bronzer

As I stated I was on a blitz shopping spree and I was looking for the Palmers Leg gloss to cover up skin imperfections when I came across the Loreal Sublime Bronze Luminous Bronzer. Its new (as it says on the bottle LOL) and I thought Id give it a try. So I was in the lotion section in Walmart and I saw one bottle left but it was used cause it had goop on the lid. So I picked up the bottle and squirted a small sample on my inner wrist. I was very surprised at it. It immediately gave me a golden bronze look. I was sparkly (fun fun) and my skin was smooth. Now there isn't any sunblock it it so if you think you will not burn you better get your head out of the sand pit. So I didnt want to buy the used bottle and I was just about to walk out when I went past the sunblock/tanning section and I saw a ton of bottles. I cant remember how much I paid but it wasn't like alot or anything. Id say no more than $8. So yea I took it home and exfoliated and I dried off and put it on. It went on with no problem. There wasn't any issues of streaking. No Orange hue, No staining of the palms. I must say I was sparkly. So if you like to look like the Willy Wonka Golden ticket I recommend it! I went to the beach and I actually had on a gold bathing suit and I think I looked damn good. I tell you the minute you hit the sun you see the bronze in effect. The great thing also is that it has a pleasant smell and not a medicated smell. One would say Girl why do you need a bronzer? Well My answer is why did I go to the tanning salon or why did I get tanning spray. Cause I just wanted to try a solution to whatever was going on at the moment. I currently had scarring from shaving and  I was looking for something to blend in. I also needed something that wouldn't wash off or fade right away. Which this bronzer did. It held up all day and for the next few days after. I love it and now I'm using it here and there until the end of summer on my legs when I wear shorts or skirts. Artificial lights or sunlight illuminates my skin tremendously. Its a great buy. Good Job Loreal

Tree Hut Shea sugar Body Scrub

I was watching the youtube video from LeniGirly. I was looking for something for bikini razor bumps. But of course when you watch one video it leads me on a shopping spree. LOL Her video for the tutorial is http://youtu.be/zk2cyJK76RU. So anyways she said there was a scrub that you can buy from Walmart and it cost $5 and she swears by it. Now usually im like whatever but I have been listening to her for awhile and I trust her opinion so I went to buy it. I now SWEAR by it. I bought the same one she did and Im estatic. I can honestly say that my skin finally feels smooth and I dont feel that stubbly feeling. The scrub is brown with large granules, which is the only thing that works for my skin. The smaller the beads the less it makes the skin smooth. I use it on my legs (esp. the lower part with the chicken skin texture) and the bikini area. I plan to get a brush for my bikini area. I think the best is a toothbrush. I love the brand tooth brush GUM as I have 2  of them for travel purposes and it has soft bristles. The smell of the scrub is identical to brown sugar and I soo love love. I just looked up the website and to my knowledge there are more scrubs made by this brand so of course in the future I will try those flavors too. (damn Im a shopaholic). Here is the website.

I just got the product on Labor day weekend and Im halfway done. I love the smooth feeling. I was using everyday and now I may cut back to 2 to 3 times a week. I just started waxing again (taking a break from a electric razor that caused razor bumps.... my fault :(   I also got a bronzer too to cover imperfections and I got a skin lightener I will blog about both of those later.  So yea check out the product and let me know your thoughts. Tokidoki eye shadows

So Random I got an email from Sephora saying the world was coming to an end and I needed to purchase these products before they discontinue. KIDDING!!! I had limited funds so  I didn't go to crazy so I bought the Tokidoki eye shadow. I bought the Cromatico eye shadow set and the Cromatico eye shadow single called Bulletto. The bulletto color is like a dark brown color with sparkle hue in it. I will now tell the shades that came in the set.
(soya=lime green,
bruttino=sky blue,
killer candy=royal purple,
choco= chocolate brown,
samba=light tan brown, and
diamante = diamond sparkle baby).
 I love all the colors. They are mad BRIGHT!! I have chocolate skin (well from all the fun in the sun) but I need some pop!!. The colors are describe in the "tokidoki" language. The packaging which each eyeshadow came in are individual and the case that contains them are in the shape of like a skull and bones but the skull is a heart shape.

I paid $29 for the 6 piece set and $6 for the individual. Yes it comes with a brown shade but I use brown alot so I thought Id get another color since I believe the colors will become limited in the future. Overall its been a few days having them and I love the compliments. Id say tokidoki is a good buy.
